I'm a High School Graduate!!!!

A LOT has been going down the past 2 weeks, but I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired so I've been napping during all of my limited down time so I'm a terrible blogger...

The last Saturday of my high school life I had Mountain View Prom....however 3 days before that I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. Who gets their wisdom teeth out right in the middle of finals, speaking at assemblies, and prom? Apparently people with infected wisdom teeth do.

So here's a quick catch up of the last 2 weeks!

The day after I got my wisdom teeth out my sister graduated from ASU. (She ROCKS)

I've been sick for the past 2 weeks, but I was especially sick prom night. I had no voice and a screaming headache so I feel bad for Cardon that he had a typical downer of a date. But it was still a way good night and I didn't look like a swollen chipmunk thanks to my steroid shots. The Jesterz comedy group came and performed for my prom group after prom and they were HILARIOUS. And Prom was at the Falcon Field Air Hanger so basically it was the coolest venue ever.

Last Monday I got invited to the awards assembly, but I figured it was because I had to announce 2 of the awards (still with no voice) for it. Turns out I actually got 2 awards. The Emerging Leader Award and US Marine Corps Scholastic of Excellence. I was honored to get those and I had never won anything that wasn't honor roll so it was a good morning. My Student Council teacher made me cry during it so I guess High School ended pretty darn good.
Then last Wednesday I graduated from Seminary with a 4 year certificate. Since I took seminary in high school it left me short credits which made me have to take some online classes over the years to fit everything into my schedule. It was so worth it though, I would do it again in a heart beat. My favorite seminary teacher was Bro. Smith who I had this past year. Seminary was by far my favorite class of the day and seriously such a a nice break from the world everyday for an hour.

And finally after all of my finals I GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL!!!
I thought this day would actually come!!! I've never been that big of a fan of high school so this was definitely a happy goodbye!! Big shout out to all my friends and family that came to the 2 and a half hour ceremony. But I did it!! I graduated high school and never ever have to go back!! 12 years of my life done and now a new chapter in my life begins. It honestly doesn't quite feel like I'm an adult yet but I am sure it will when all my bills are due next month. But hey I am a graduate of the Class of 2014!! Wahooo!

Weekend Wrap Up

If this weekend was a preview of summer then I already am in love with summer. It consisted of going to the Sweet Tooth Fairy to get cupshakes with my girls....
 .....and some top notch lakin'.
In reality I'm probably going to spend a majority of the summer working. But a girl can dream of a carefree summer, right?

This weekend I also got to celebrate my Mommy!
I love her with all my heart and I'm sooooo blessed I came to this earth with her as my Mom. She ROCKS. She's taught me the importance of being obedient, helping everyone she can, and definitely what unconditional love is. With me being the youngest child I tend to have a sassy, spoiled side but she still loves me anyways. I could not get anything done without my Mom because she helps me with EVERYTHING. Sometimes I complain that my parents are so involved in my life when curfew rolls around but looking back on my short 18 years so far I realize just how much that has helped me turn out to be the way I am. I'm blessed to have a Mom that cares to lose sleep every weekend if that means I am home and safe. My mom always makes sure I'm taken care of and making good choices. I don't tell her thank you enough. I hope I can be as good as a Mom as her someday and I can raise 4 kids just as well as she is.

Red Mountain Prom

This post has way too many pictures but I just love them so much and a picture is worth a thousand words so I don't care. I LOVE PROM.

I actually pinned his boutonniere on by myself. Not gonna lie I was pretty proud of myself considering I've never been able to do it for any dance, good thing I finally got it down by senior prom.
I loved my hair. Jennifer McDowell did it and she is fantastic. It's awesome because it looks like an up-do hairstyle when really it's kinda a down do in the back.

My prom group rocked! I love these guys and loved going to my senior prom with them. Crazy we're all graduating!!

And more pictures........... :)

Kayle Park rocks.
And Elisabeth and Holly rock too.

I love all these girls.
Class of 2014 wahoooo

Prom Prep

You know what's hard to do with fake nails? Everything.
Literally like can't pick up magnets, run my fingers through my hair, and other random things I didn't know I did so much. (Imagine me trying to take my contact out last night lol) I love them though and think they're oh so very cute. Definitely not fun to actually wear though.  I'm finally getting used to them which is handy. (handy...pun) Holly and I got them together and I missed school for it which makes it a thousand times better.
I also got a pedicure. Which was definitely worth it for the calf massage especially.

Apparently I don't know how to put sunless tanning lotion on my feet. The asian lady who did my pedicure started laughing when she saw my feet and goes "is that tan lotion?" in her crazy accent....The rest of my body is good though and actually doesn't look albino.
PROM IS TONIGHT AND I AM SO STOKED!!!
*Coming up soon.... PROM PICS!!!!* :)
